We remain committed to improving the health of women, families, communities and their environment.
Since 2012, we have delivered over 500,000 rights-based family planning services and nearly 1.2 million healthcare services to remote, local communities. We currently work with 13 local partners in East Africa.
Over the coming years we will reach even more people through strengthening and growing our portfolio of partners, scaling our work with conservation organisations and sharing our learning and experience more widely.
With the generous support of our donors, we aim to increase our income to over £1 million by 2025.
We hope our updated branding reflects our continued belief and pride in our work.
“As part of our ongoing process of professionalisation at CHASE Africa, we felt it was time to develop brand guidelines so that all of our communication materials have a consistent, attractive and contemporary look for engagement with our supporters and stakeholders. Our original logo was developed 10 years ago and it needed refreshing. We wanted to keep the link to the original logo, but make it suitable for our next stage of growth”.
CHASE Africa’s CEO, Harriet Gordon Brown
The acacia tree is a symbol of regeneration, perseverance and integrity. It connects to CHASE Africa’s roots as a tree planting charity before we began to diversify into reproductive and sexual healthcare in 2012. Today, CHASE Africa’s work continues to be interconnected with the wider environment.
The colours reflect our bold ambitions for the future. Each colour represents a key focus area of our work; Community, Healthcare, Sustainability and Environment, and the integration of these themes throughout our programmes in East Africa. The colours also communicate the uplifting, positive impact of our work.
The raised hands represent hope and strength. The symbol reinforces that CHASE Africa helps improve the lives of individuals. By changing women’s lives for the better, whole communities are impacted for future generations. Through collaboration with CHASE Africa’s Partner Network, we work together to lift each other up and champion Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
