Addressing the issues

In rural East Africa there is limited access to health services. Patriarchal norms can restrict women's health decisions. There is a high unmet need for family planning, and early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and FGM are prevalent. Communities rely heavily on natural resources and face human-wildlife conflict.

Healthy women

We improve women’s health and wellbeing, and that of their families. Our community health programmes break down barriers that prevent women accessing health services and realizing their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
