Margaret Makumi
Margaret has vast technical experience, expertise and competency in population and health programs. She is a medical doctor, a public health specialist and a Takemi fellow in international health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She has over 20 years of experience developing, managing, implementing, researching, and advising health projects and institutional strengthening in Kenya for better health outcomes. She has worked for the Ministry of Health and the NGO sector holding high leadership and management positions with involvement in many areas including: health and population policy formulation, planning and budgeting; health rights including reproductive health rights; gender programming, and assessing and evaluating health programmes and facilities.
