An Evening for Women’s Health in Bath
On 8th October, 85 women joined us at Kingswood School in Bath for an evening focussed on women’s health.
Dr Kate Kerr presented the topic of menopause, sharing information on symptoms, medication and supplements, and perimenopause and post-menopause care.
Harriet Gordon-Brown, CEO of CHASE Africa, and CHASE Africa ambassador Georgia Burford then talked about CHASE Africa and our partner organisations in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Afterwards, guests enjoyed drinks and a chance to chat with one another and the CHASE Africa team.
Dr Kate Kerr
We were very fortunate to benefit from Dr Kerr’s expertise and experience supporting women going through the menopause. The event highlighted the value of receiving relevant and accurate health information from a trusted and knowledgeable source. Whilst the setting was different from the health dialogues we support in East Africa, the principles are the same ─ giving women accurate information about their health enables them to make informed decisions and choices.
Harriet Gordon Brown, CEO
Thank you to Dr Kerr and Kingswood School for their generous support of the event, and to everyone who attended.
