Stephen Bown

Stephen Bown is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at University College London and directed a medical translational research group for 30 years.

He now focuses more on environmental issues. He enjoys giving lectures on population and environment issues to schools and various adult groups, as well as supervising Masters degree dissertations dealing with these themes at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

He has joined a series of medical outreach clinics in rural Kenya run by CHASE Africa’s partners, Dandelion Africa and CHAT, filming community lives and recording stories of life in the villages.
